Beautiful vinyl edition of this excellent side: Almost Boyd Rice/Non levels of stuck vinyl fanfares and ominous, form devouring electronics from this great Montreal-based male/female hotwire duo that features Blake Hargreaves of Cousins Of Reggae alongside Katherine Kline, a team that previously laid a monster cassette via Olson's American Tapes imprint. The addition of some sick/ squelchy casio beats and bass drum hits gives the whole thing a late-Throbbing Gristle/ Suicide/ Jessica Rylan/ Chris Corsano feel while the general overloaded garbage/wuzz of the disc as a whole points firmly to their friendship with Nautical Almanac and at least a passing familiarity with boo.
