Get a Life was an art show at Montreal's Darling Foundry curated by Margaret Haines. The show opened on Nuit Blanche, which is french for the night in Montreal when the Planetarium stays open all night, buses are free and snowplow enthusiasts watch them do synchronized manoeuvres.

To celebrate the opening and the occasion, Fluorescent Friends called in the best and baddest to come whale in the foundry's gigantic performance space. The show started at 8:30 with a performance by Fynal Glayze, who also had work in the art show, and carried on relentlessly until 2, at which time the bar was selling wine by the bottle and the last few diehards were fist-pumping around the wall of sound on wheels we had going.

Also performing that night:

Jim Slay
Wax Attic
Menace Ruine
Gmackrr
Ghost Limbs
Gym Sweat
Charles Balls (Toronto)
Metis Yeti
